 Sagamore Hills Elementary School is a coeducational institution that has been operational for more than 45 years and is located in Atlanta. It supports the Book Buddy program, which offers assistance to students in reading and writing. The school conducts special classes in art, music and physical education. Sagamore Hills Elementary School organizes Science Olympiad, the Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl, and Geography Bee, Spelling Bee and 4-H competitions. It is a part of DeKalb County School System, which is one of the largest school systems in the United States. The school also hosts career and international weeks, reading carnivals, and various writing and poster contests. Sagamore Hills Elementary School has business alliances with Kroger, Chic-Fil-A and Lions Club. It has an annual enrollment of over 450 students in prekindergarten through fifth grade.
