 High Point Elementary School offers learning opportunities to more than 600 students in pre-kindergarten through grade five. The school provides classes in math and reading. It administers the English language Learners program. High Point Elementary School also offers extended-day care programs. The school manages a parent-teacher association. It provides academic instruction to students with disabilities. The school is a part of the Fulton County School System, which is one of the largest school districts in Georgia. Founded in 1871, the district enrolls more than 85,000 students in elementary, middle and 15 high schools. It employs a staff of over 10,000 people.
