Established in 1969, The Elaine Clark Center serves children with special needs. It teaches cognitive, social, motor, language and self-help skills to children through regular classroom activities and individualized plans as per their requirements. The center also provides after-school and out-of-school programs for children up to the age of 12. The Elaine Clark Center s registered nurse performs a range of pediatric services for children, including medication, monitoring and other professional treatments. Its social service coordinators assist families through the transition process into the center, links children to services specific to their needs and monitors the needs of the families. Located in Chamblee, Ga., The Elaine Clark Center also provides educational sessions and a resource library for parents. |
