 Located in Atlanta, Woodland Elementary Charter School serves more than 850 students in prekindergarten through grade five. It is a part of the Fulton County School System, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools. Founded in 1971, Woodland Elementary Charter School serves students with intellectual and learning disabilities and behavioral disorders. It supports various programs in special, gifted and talented education and offers the English for Speakers of Other Languages program. The school offers a variety of extracurricular programs in art and music. Woodland Elementary Charter School has a parent-teacher association that supports and sponsors various school events, such as cultural arts programs, family literacy nights, book fairs, picnics and drug awareness projects.
