 Vanderlyn Elementary School enrolls more than 900 students in prekindergarten through grade five. Music, art and international language instruction are offered to all students. An extended school program is offered and is aligned with the school's academic goals. Character education and public service opportunities are encouraged throughout the school. The school also has a computer lab with more than 25 workstations with full-time computer technology instructional programs. Its media center offers a variety of books and educational resources and monthly calendars of school events.
