 Tara Elementary School is a learning center that is located in Morrow, Ga. Established in 1964, the school serves more than 620 students in prekindergarten through grade five. It offers English as a Speaker of Other Languages, talented and gifted education, and speech and language therapy programs. Tara Elementary School provides a range of extracurricular activities that includes physical education, music and art. The school s staff includes paraprofessionals, guidance counselors, nurses, literary coaches, bilingual aides and media specialists. It organizes family literacy nights and several social and cultural festivals. Tara Elementary School is a part of Clayton County Public Schools, which serves more than 52,700 students through various elementary, middle and high schools and alternative learning centers.
