Established in 1975, Lincoln-Hancock Community School provides education for students in grades one through five. The school has a gymnasium, cafeteria, swimming pool and media center. Its curriculum includes math, language arts, reading, physical education, and science and technology. Lincoln-Hancock Community School administers the English as a Second Language program. In addition, the school offers special education classes for gifted and talented students. It operates a parent-teacher council that provides funds and gifts. Lincoln-Hancock Community School also offers extracurricular activities, such as dance and arts and crafts. The school provides guidance counseling services. It is a part of Quincy Public Schools. |
