 The Little Village Academy provides educational opportunities for more than 800 students in pre-kindergarten through grade eight. The academy s curriculum includes math, reading, science, music and physical education. It administers the Head Start program. In addition, the Little Village Academy maintains a computer laboratory and library. The academy serves lunch and breakfast, as well as offers guidance counseling services. It provides special education classes for gifted and talented students. The Little Village Academy offers a range of sports activities, such as basketball and soccer. The academy also administers the English Language Learners program. It operates book, writing and reading clubs. The Little Village Academy is a part of Chicago Public Schools.
