 The Leif Ericson Elementary Scholastic Academy is an educational institution that has an enrollment of more than 580 students in pre-kindergarten through grade eight. The school s curriculum includes Spanish, music, science, language arts and social studies. It has partnerships with Malcolm X College for administering reading and math tutoring programs. The Leif Ericson Elementary Scholastic Academy offers English Language Learners, special education and guidance counseling programs. The school provides membership opportunities in the Beta Club. In addition, it offers several sports activities, including football and cheerleading. The Leif Ericson Elementary Scholastic Academy organizes dance, drama and aerobic activities.
