 The LaSalle Language Academy, also known as LLA, is an elementary magnet school that offers a range of academic and enrichment programs. The academy provides lessons in world languages, such as Spanish, German, French, Italian and Chinese. It also offers classes in music, art, science, physical education, social studies and mathematics. The academy enrolls more than 580 students in kindergarten through grade eight. The LaSalle Language Academy operates a local school council and offers special education programs. Its cafeteria offers a variety of food items and beverages for breakfast and lunch. The LaSalle Language Academy is governed by Chicago Public Schools.
