 Edwin J. Kiest Elementary School has a staff of more than 50 teachers that offers educational classes in music, art, physical education, reading, writing, social studies and math. The school has an annual enrollment of more than 950 students in prekindergarten through grade six. It organizes various special programs, such as bilingual and academic tutoring classes, after-school care, orchestra and safety patrol. The school also offers various extracurricular activities that include band, baseball, basketball, football, cheerleading, soccer and volleyball. It has a parent-teacher association that sponsors educational and social programs, which compliment the classroom curriculum. Edwin J.
