 Mitchell Elementary School s community and business partners include Dallas Museum of Art, Regions Bank, Kroger, Target, Central Market and Tom Thumb. The school serves more than 600 students in kindergarten through grade six. The school s support staff includes an office manager, nurse and literacy specialist. Mitchell Elementary School s library stocks fiction works, folktales, informational nonfiction, biographies, autobiographies, plays and poems. The elementary school maintains a parent-teacher association that sponsors various projects and safety education classes.
