 RIPCORD is the second oldest gay bar in Texas and the state's oldest leather bar. Since 1980, the bar is respected as an iconic staple in the Montrose community, hosting a wide range of events. RIPCORD is a popular spot for various groups in the gay community, including Bears, Cubs, Daddy, Chaser, Leather, and Masculine Men. RIPCORD has the largest patio in the Montrose and is a great place to enjoy a drink on a nice Houston evening. RIPCORD is open Monday thru Saturday (1pm - 2am), and Sunday (12pm - 2am). A patio entrance to Black Hawk Leather Shop is open Friday and Saturday (8pm - 2am) for your leather needs.
