Dr. Jorge Quirch is highly fluent in Spanish, having been born in Havana, Cuba and then moving to Houston at the age of three. He graduated from John Foster Dulles High School in 1982, obtained his B.S. at Texas A&M University in 1987, and received his Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 1992 from the University of Texas Dental Branch – Houston. He continues to play an active role in alumni organizations, including the Association of Former Students, Texas A&M University, and the University of Texas Dental Branch Alumni Association. Dr. Quirch is an adjunct associate professor at the University of Texas School of Dentistry, and maintains active staff status at The Methodist Hospital, St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital, and Memorial Hermann Hospital. Dr. Quirch is also a member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association and the Greater Houston Dental Society. Continuing education interests include memberships in the Southwest Society of Oral Medicine, Dawson Center for the Advancement of Dentistry and the Academy of General Dentistry where he was awarded a Fellowship in 2007. His community involvement includes a membership in the Christ United Methodist Church of Sugar Land, Texas, the Rotary Club of University Area: Rice University (President 2000-2001) and the Houstonian Golf & Country Club. The Quirch family (he is married with two children) enjoys a wide range of outdoor activities including golf, skiing, fly fishing and hunting. Dr. Quirch is dedicated to providing all of his patients the highest quality, and most comprehensive dentistry available, including restorative treatment, root canal therapy, crown & bridge, and treatment of periodontal disease.
