 Westside Montessori School, also known as WMS, is a nonprofit educational institution that serves students aged 18 months through grade eight. The school offers toddler, primary and lower elementary programs for students up to the age of 14. Founded in 1977, the school's academic curriculum includes English, science, music, geography, art, physical education, reading, writing, social studies and math. Westside Montessori School also offers various after-school programs. It operates a parent-volunteer organization that conducts several fundraising activities and special programs. The school is a member of the American Montessori Society (AMS) and is accredited by AdvancED. Westside Montessori School is located in Houston.
