 Lieder Elementary School provides educational services to more than 950 students in kindergarten through grade five. The school s curriculum includes language arts, math, science, social studies and health education. It offers a variety of extracurricular activities, such as art, music, theater, and technical and physical education. It provides special education to gifted and talented students. Lieder Elementary School also offers speech and language therapies to students with learning disabilities. The school organizes field trips to several educational and cultural destinations. It offers Title 1 and English as a Second Language programs. In addition, it operates a parent-teacher organization that conducts fundraising activities. The school s staff includes a counselor, nurse, diagnostician and dyslexia specialist. Located in Houston, Lieder Elementary School is a part of the Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District.
