 Janowski Elementary School is affiliated with the Houston Independent School District, which serves approximately 200,000 students in over 300 schools. Located in Houston, the school has an annual enrollment of more than 800 students in prekindergarten through grade five. It organizes several extracurricular activities, including talent shows, math and science fairs, music concerts, and dance and theater performances. The school has a staff of nearly 40 full-time certified teachers that provides academic classes in reading, math, writing, science, social studies and language arts. In addition, Janowski Elementary School offers a variety of special programs, such as Title I, gifted and talented education, English as a Second language, and bilingual and special education.
