 Located in Houston, Piney Point Elementary School is recognized by the Texas Education Agency and provides academic instruction to students in pre-kindergarten through grade five. The school teaches various subjects, including math, science, social studies, art, reading and writing, speech and language, physical education, music and language arts. Piney Point Elementary School has a library media center that houses a collection of databases, magazines, journals and newspapers. In addition, the school offers English as a Second Language, gifted and talented, Title I and special education programs. Piney Point Elementary School is a part of the Houston Independent School District, which operates more than 300 elementary, middle and high schools and serves over 202,000 students annually.
