 Saint James Christian Preschool was established in 1973. We promote child development, fostering the growth of a child's natural interests, and encourage participation in the world around them. Our school puts great emphasis on play. Play enhances language skills, large and fine motor skills, social and emotional skills and problem solving. Within the context of play, the children learn age appropriate skills plus Kindergarten readiness. It is important for young children to have Fun While Learning!!! All classes learn the importance of routine with playing, cleaning up, circle time, washing up for snack, table time, movement time, library and lunch time. This is very helpful for children to master their day. Grace is prayed before snack and lunch. Christian holidays are celebrated along with traditional and national holidays.
