Our History There is much to know about The Crown King Saloon & Caf. We have been open for over 100 years! Originally in Oro Belle, our saloon moved to Crown King in 1906, and played a key role in the community then just as it does now. The original owner, Tom Anderson, was a miner who worked at the Crowned King Mine and mill. Shortly before the mine closed, he purchased a butcher shop. He then moved this butcher shop to Crown King, where it later became The Crown King Saloon & Caf that we know and love today. You will absolutely enjoy your stay, if it's a lunch date, an overnight stay or an exciting event like our annual Horseshoe Pitches, Chili Cook-offs, Christmas Parade of Lights, or the world-famous, Shortest Memorial Day Parade. Get ready for some serious fun. Our saloon is full of history and has been a very big part of our community in Crown King, Arizona. Come check us out and learn more. |
