Tumbleweed School, located in Phoenix, is a public school spread over 17 acre of land. It offers an extensive curriculum for students in prekindergarten through six. It has more than 600 students enrolled under its curriculum activities and is governed by the Washington Elementary School District 6. The facility has been providing its services for more than 25 years with a wide range of school programs and activities to the students and community. The various subjects offered include language arts, English, mathematics, science, social studies fine arts, music and health and physical education. In addition, it offers a variety of other programs that include drug, tobacco and alcohol prevention, English as a second language and on-site special education programs, technology teaching and learning stations. Tumbleweed School houses various facilities, including music, arts and band rooms, computer and science laboratory, library, media and nature centers and a performance stage. |
