Heritage Elementary School is a part of the Peoria Unified School District, which is one of the largest educational systems in Arizona and serves more than 35,000 students in over 35 school campuses. Established in 1976, it enrolls nearly 850 students in kindergarten through grade eight who are taught by a staff of more than 65 teachers and paraprofessionals. Located in Glendale, Ariz., the school conducts classes in English, math, science and social studies. It provides an online photo gallery of the school s various events, as well as organizes award ceremonies, band concerts, dance shows, summer reading nights and field trips. Heritage Elementary School has a parent-teacher association that supports campus events and a media center that stocks books under several genres, such as fiction, technology and science. |
