My firm, Ana Maribet Sanchez, PLLC, was established with a primary focus on criminal defense and bankruptcy law. I am a solo practitioner which means you will receive the personal attention that your case deserves. I make sure that my clients are well-informed of the case's progress and the strategies involved throughout. My clients appreciate that they are treated as individuals with respect and kindness. I have been practicing criminal and bankruptcy law in the Phoenix Metropolitan area since being admitted to the Arizona State Bar and represent both English and Spanish speaking clients. I have represented hundreds of clients who have been charged with various criminal offenses from small misdemeanor cases to large felony cases with multiple co-defendants. In addition to my private practice, I am currently a Public Defender with the Cities of Phoenix and Scottsdale representing indigent clients accused of misdemeanor offenses. I have developed a strong professional relationship with the Courts personnel and employees and Citys prosecutors and judges. A large majority of my clients are Spanish speaking only. Born in Panama City, Panama, I am fluent in Spanish and can read, write, and speak the language. I have a Bachelors of Arts Degree from Arizona State University in Spanish Literature and studied for a year in Granada, Spain. I also taught Spanish while earning my undergrad degree and studied for a summer in Guanajuato, Mexico while in law school. I am currently involved with the Rule of Law Initiative sponsored by the American Bar Association. My latest assignment was spending a week in Mata, Ecuador teaching trial advocacy skills and the accusatorial system to judges, attorneys, members of the military, and politicians, all in Spanish of course. I am a trusted, resourceful and skilled lawyer who will go the distance in fighting for your personal and financial freedom. |
