 King-Chavez Primary Academy, also known as KCPA, offers learning options to more than 280 students in kindergarten through grade two. It conducts classes in English, physical education, math and language arts. The academy also provides sessions in nutrition, health education and communication to parents. King-Chavez Primary Academy has over 15 staff members. It has partnerships with San Diego State University Baseball, San Diego Hospice and Neighborhood House. The academy provides guidance counseling services. King-Chavez Primary Academy offers after-school tutorial classes. It additionally provides reading skills development classes.
