 Florence Elementary School is a learning center that is a part of the San Diego Unified School District, which is one of the largest school systems in California with an enrollment of more than 130,900 students in over 210 educational institutions. The school provides educational programs to over 280 students in kindergarten through grade five. Florence Elementary School has business alliances with the University of California, Washington Mutual Bank, San Diego Uptown Rotary, Daphne s Greek Caf , John D. Spreckels Masonic Lodge and Florence Foundation. It maintains a parent-teacher compact that sponsors educational and social programs that compliment the classroom curriculum. Located in San Diego, Florence Elementary School has a staff of nearly 20 full-time certified teachers who offer classes in English, language arts, math, science, social studies, and health and physical education.
