Rolling Hills Elementary, built in 1978, is a California Distinguished school that provides educational services to more than 400 students in kindergarten through fifth grade. It employs a staff of over 40 full-time, certified teachers and paraprofessionals. The school maintains a parent-teacher association that sponsors numerous assemblies and fieldtrips, as well as supports classroom budget requirements. Rolling Hills Elementary also operates a family resource center that conducts various parent education sessions with a focus on literacy instruction, conflict resolution, character education and college readiness. Rolling Hills Elementary is a part of the Poway Unified School District and is located in San Diego. |
