 Westwood Elementary School serves more than 700 students every year in grades kindergarten through five. The school has a media center that provides online encyclopedias, databases, facts and statistics, and dictionaries and thesauruses to students for additional resources. It has a parent-teacher association that works in partnership with the school s principal and staff, as well as the community to provide programs and services that enhance the educational environment for all children. The school offers a wide range of academic subjects, such as reading, writing, basic skills, English, math, science, social studies, spelling and vocabulary, music, health and physical education. Westwood Elementary School is a part of the Poway Unified School District and is located in San Diego.
