Founded in 1964 as a private non-profit coeducational school, Seattle Country Day School is an independent educational institution that serves students in kindergarten through eighth grade. It has an annual enrollment of more than 300 students and promotes academic excellence. The school assists students in individual and small group problem solving, discovery and exploration skills. Seattle Country Day School maintains a curriculum that includes math, science, technology, reading, literature, writing, Spanish, physical education and art. It also offers instruction in a variety of computer applications, such as word processing, digital multimedia, telecommunication, elementary programming, spreadsheets, databases and robotics. The school additionally administers before- and after-school and athletic programs. |
