Jewish Day School of Metropolitan Seattle, located in Bellevue, Wash., is one of the oldest and largest community Jewish day school in the Northwest. Founded in 1980 by a small group of community leaders, its academics promote an integrated curriculum of secular and Judaic studies for students in grades preschool through eight. Its more than students develop intellectually and spiritually because in addition to language arts, math, computers, science and social studies, its students celebrate Jewish holidays, study Torah, liturgy, Jewish history and the Hebrew language.
