 Founded in 1969, Eastside Christian School is a private, nonprofit school that provides education to students in prekindergarten through eighth grade. Its campus includes classrooms, a chapel, full-size gymnasium, computer laboratory, basketball court and playground. Its preschool offers a discovery day program for students ages 3 to 5 on alternative weekdays. Its elementary school offers a variety of courses, such as reading phonics, mathematics, language arts, history, geography and science. Additionally, the school offers daily Bible lessons, weekly chapels and character development programs. Eastside Christian School also has additional teaching specialists to instruct students in arts, music, computer applications, physical education and Spanish. The school is located in Bellevue, Wash. Eastside Christian School is a long standing member of the Association of Christian Schools International.
