 Recycle4dogs aims to revolutionize the dog leash industry by providing an eco-friendly alternative to typical dog leashes. Climbers, hikers, backpackers, and all sorts of outdoor enthusiasts use a large amount of industrial-grade nylon rope per outing. As soon as the rope gets even slightly frayed or weakened, a new rope must be purchased. Often the old rope gets tossed away. R4D is currently in association with REI, Outdoor Emporium, and other local outdoor stores to collect frayed or slightly worn nylon rope. Once collected, the rope is recycled into all-natural, eco-friendly, affordable dog leashes that are sold back to the community.
