 The Archdiocese of Portland operates various ministries, parishes and schools. The various ministries of the Archdiocese include Archdiocesan Catholic ministries, historical commission, pastoral council and Catholic Campaign for Human Development. It also operates the Child Protection and Victim Assistance Office that provides services to victims of sexual abuse. It operates the Office of Communications that maintains liaisons with various television, radio and print media. It provides services for the development of the Archdiocesan Resource Center s media library and upgrading of its Web page. Additionally, the Archdiocese maintains cemeteries that provide burial grounds for members of parishes. Its Archdiocesan historical commission promotes the preservation of historical resources.
