Dr. Fischer was born in the San Francisco Bay area of California and grew up in Southern California and Idaho. He attended high school in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho and went on to receive both a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Arts Degrees from Portland State University. Dr. Mark went on to receive his dental degree (D.M.D.) from the Oregon Health Sciences University in 1985 and completed the PAC-LIVE Cosmetic Dentistry Course in 2001 through Pacific University in San Francisco.
Dr. Mark has been a practicing dentist in the Portland area for over 20 years. He joined the Cascade Dental team in 2001, helping patients in our Cascade Park office. Dr. Fischer enjoys all aspects of general dentistry but is particularly interested in endodontics and cosmetic dentistry. He is a volunteer with the Northwest Medical teams, helping disadvantaged patients and disaster survivors both locally and in Mexico for many years.
Dr. Fischer has three grown children and two grandchildren, Sofia and Lucia. He and his wife, Corinn, have two pets, Hank The Fat Cat and Nala The Skinny Cat. In his spare time, Dr. Mark likes sailing, kayaking, travel, music, food and wine. |
