 Truman Elementary School provides a range of educational services to students in kindergarten through grade five. It offers a variety of academic courses, including reading, math, writing, art, music and physical education. The school provides opportunities to participate in various extracurricular activities, such as mad science group, student council, choir, band, math buddies, and dram, Spanish, math and chess clubs. It hosts family reading nights where students dress up as storybook characters. Additionally, the school involves students in a variety of athletic activities, including volleyball, basketball, and track and field. It offers an accelerated reader program in which the students read selected books and then take quizzes on those books.
