Located in the historic neighborhood of Chinatown, Flight is a top wine destination in the city. Flight opened in January of 2014 when the city had just a few wine bars. Owners and sommeliers, Kabir Amir and Swati Bose, have traveled the world selecting the wine for their robust wine list consisting of over 500 wines in various formats including 28 wine flights, 40 wines by the glass, and 10 wines poured by the Coravin. They focus on small, family-owned estates, and lesser known varietals and regions. The small, inventive, and delicious dinner menu utilizing local and seasonal ingredients is prepared by Chef James Barton, a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America. Guests can enjoy small plates such as Crispy Fingerling Potatoes on a buttermilk dressing and Burrata with a butternut squash chutney or larger plates like Braised Short Ribs with daikon radish with charred onion puree and Octopus on a white bean and fennel ragu. The space evokes an intimate and cozy experience. |
