In January, 2001 I migrated to the United States and subsequently matriculated into the New York University College of Dentistry program. I graduated from NYU, the largest, one of the most advanced dental school in the nation in 2005 and received a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
My passion for learning continued and motivated me to pursue further training at an advanced level. Shortly after graduation from NYU, I was accepted into the University of Maryland, Baltimore school of Dentistry for Advanced Education in Prosthodontics, a full time three year specialty program. Beside the specialty education in Prosthodontics, I successfully defended my Master’s Thesis and received a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences with honors from the University of Maryland Graduate School in 2008. I was persuaded by my mentors to enroll in a post-doctoral surgical fellowship right after completing my residency in prosthodontics.
In July of 2009, I completed a one year full time “Implant and Periodontal Prosthetics Fellowship” mastering in surgical aspects of implantology, including advanced diagnostic methods and treatment planning using CBCT, soft tissue and osseous surgeries (including crown lengthening, socket preservation, ridge augmentation, sinus floor elevation procedures) as well as surgical placements of Noble Biocare, Straumann, and Biomet-3i dental implants, in the state-of-the-art Periodontics Postgraduate Clinic that is equipped with the latest diagnostic imaging equipment, full surgical suites at the University of Maryland Dental School.
