The Veterans Benefits Administration, in partnership with the Veterans Health Administration and the National Cemetery Administration, provides benefits and services to the veterans and their families. It programs include pension, health care, vocational rehabilitation and employment, education and training, home loans and life insurance. Its health care program includes outpatient medical, dental, pharmacy and community-based residential care services. It also provides sexual trauma and readjustment counseling and alcohol and drug dependency treatment. The Veterans Benefits Administration offers assistance to veterans in the form of job search, vocational evaluation and training, career exploration, educational training and supportive rehabilitation services. It is a pat of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. |
