Founded in 1908, Truesdell Elementary School enrolls more than 300 students in prekindergarten through grade six. The school is a part of District of Columbia Public Schools, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools. It employs a staff of trained teachers, psychologists, program coordinators and social workers. Truesdell Elementary School provides special education for students with various disabilities.
