 In February, 2011, Pause opened at 1666 Market Street, on the edge of Hayes Valley, in the rapidly changing Mid Market district. Pause is located in the Hub neighborhood. Our wine list changes weekly, and our food menu seasonally. Our focus is on wine grown without chemicals, seafood and vegetarian foods. Over the past 6 years, we are proud to say that we have accomplished the main goals that we had set out to achieve: provide friendly and knowledgeable service, serve great tasting eco-friendly wine, and offer a wide selection of wine-friendly vegetarian food. We host a weekly trivia game every Tuesday at both wine bars at 7:30.
