 Congregation Ner Tamid, located in the Sunset District of San Francisco was founded in 1943 as an egalitarian synagogue that is affiliated with the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism. (USCJ-Northern California Region. We are an intimate congregation offering a spectrum of synagogue activities. In addition to our regular Shabbat and Holiday services, individualized Bar/Bat mitzvah training, participation in United Synagogue Youth programs, a Thursday morning Learner's Minyan, adult education and social action programs and a variety of social activities.
