Dr. Josh Berd is a native San Franciscan and a graduate of Washington High School. After completing his B.A. degree in Psychology at the University of California, Santa Barbara, he returned to San Francisco to earn his D.D.S. degree from University of The Pacific School of Dentistry. Dr. Berd continued his training at UCSF School of Dentistry, earning a Certificate in Implantology and Periodontics, and later completed a surgical course with the International Academy of Implantology. At these institutions, Dr. Berd learned the humanistic approach to dental care – to put the patient’s comfort first! During his training, he excelled in cosmetic procedures and implant dentistry, earning awards for Aesthetics, Clinical Excellence, as well as an Endowment for Promise as a Dental Educator. In addition to his private practice, Dr. Berd serves as Adjunct Professor at the University of The Pacific, where he teaches Local Anesthesia and Dental Anatomy. He also holds a Certificate in Teaching from the Academy of Academic Leadership. Dr. Berd is passionate about giving back to the San Francisco community as a volunteer dentist for Project Homeless Connect and member of the Community Dental Health Committee of the San Francisco Dental Society. He resides in San Francisco, enjoys surfing Ocean Beach, cheering on the Giants, and spending time with his family.Gendermale |
