Established in 1998, Edison Charter Academy educates students in kindergarten through grade eight. The academy is governed by Edison Schools, which comprises of educators, innovators and individuals who work towards improving public education. Edison Schools serves more than 285,000 students through educational institutes and programs in more than 15 U.S. states, the District of Columbia and the United Kingdom. It also offers classes in fine arts, world language, and health and fitness education.
