 Founded in 1926, Alvarado Elementary School provides a range of educational programs to more than 450 students in kindergarten through grade five. Its academic curriculum includes reading, writing, math, science, English, language arts, music, social studies, physical education and health. The school additionally provides special classes in dance, knitting, chess, and arts and crafts. It offers gifted and talented education and English Language Learners programs.
