 Located in San Francisco, Calif., Malcolm X Academy serves more than 150 students in kindergarten through grade five. The school teaches various subjects, including math, science, social studies, art, reading and writing, physical education, music and language arts. It also offers programs related to physical education, health and social skills. Malcolm X Academy s after-school programs include academic enrichment activities in addition to dance, sports and art classes. The school hosts outdoor education activities and trips. It has a library that houses variety of storybooks, picture dictionaries, puzzles, and fiction and nonfiction books. Malcolm X Academy is a part of the San Francisco Unified School District.
