Saint Cecilia School, established in 1930, is a Roman Catholic, coeducational parish elementary school located in San Francisco. It enrolls students in grades kindergarten through eight, and there are two sections of each grade with an average class size of 30 students per section. It offers various programs for the religious, academic, social, psychological, cultural and physical development of each individual. Parents, as primary educators, and teachers, as facilitators of learning, work together to provide education that assists students in developing their individual capabilities and prepares them to become responsible citizens. The school s academic curriculum includes reading, writing and language skills, math, elementary science and social studies, art and physical education. Students develop intellectually by participating in age-appropriate and meaningful activities. |
