 Founded in 2006, Del Olmo Elementary is a Title I school that serves more than 850 students in kindergarten through grade five. The school administers the English as a Second Language program. Its academic curriculum includes several subjects, such as math, science, English and social science. Del Olmo Elementary also offers special education classes. The school provides a variety of programs in art, foreign language, home economics, music, and industrial, physical, business and health education. Del Olmo Elementary is a part of the Los Angeles Unified School District, which operates elementary, middle and high schools. The district s schools encourage students to take part in a range of athletic activities.
