Opened in 1963, 122nd Street Elementary School serves students in kindergarten through fifth grade. The school offers a gifted and talented education program for identified students in grades three through five. In addition, it provides special education services, including resource specialist programs, special day classes, language and speech lessons and adapted physical education to students with special identified needs. The school features an arts prototype program that features visual arts, theater and dance. It also offers a variety of after-school programs and enrichment activities, including chess, drama, magic, martial arts, pottery, dance, art, photography and knitting. Located in Los Angeles, 122nd Street Elementary School is part of the Los Angeles Unified School District. |
