 Since its foundation in 1981, Blue Note Jazz Club has become one of the premier jazz clubs worldwide and a cultural institution in Greenwich Village, N.Y. It organizes performances by various artists, such as Chick Corea, McCoy Tyner, Joe Lovano, John Scofield and Chris Botti. The club additionally hosts the Monday night series and the biweekly Late Night Groove Series that showcases New York's up- and-coming jazz, soul, hip hop and funk artists. Blue Note Jazz Club also provides a Sunday Brunch. It operates a gift shop that sells polo shirts, glassware, clothing, books, jewelry, stationary items, CDs and accessories.
