Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon, Dr. Sol D. Haber is currently the Director of the Dental Implant Center at The Long Island College Hospital, while continuing his private practice in Brooklyn Heights, New York. Dr. Haber is a graduate of New York University College of Dentistry. He is an attending maxillofacial surgeon at The Long Island College Hospital in New York. His special interest in dental implantology dates back to 1978, when he was a research fellow in dental implantology assigned to the Department of Otolaryngology at Rush Presbyterian St. Lukes Hospital in Chicago. Since that time, he has completed an oral and maxillofacial residency in a major New York City teaching hospital, receiving a grant for dental implantology research in 1982. In addition, he completed a second fellowship at the Long Island College Hospital in dental implantology. Dr. Haber has achieved full fellowship status in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and is president and founder of the "New Heights Study Club", a continuing education forum for participating local dentists to meet and to discuss topics of interest in dentistry. Dr. Haber offers a full range of dental implant services, including many anesthesia options for his patients comfort.
