The Herbert G. Birch Early Childhood Center offers a range of counseling services and speech, occupational and physical therapies for students with various disabilities. The center is a part of the Manhattan Early Childhood Center, which was established in 1994 and provides several early intervention programs for children between the ages of 18 months and 2 years. The Manhattan Early Childhood Center offers family training and support services. The center also operates full-day classes for children between the ages of 3 and 5. It serves children who suffer from autism and speech and language impairments. The Manhattan Early Childhood Center supports the Head Start program and is a part of Birch Family Services. |
